The Student Services Department encompasses a wide range of supports and resources designed to nurture the whole child, addressing their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.

We oversee:

• Student Registration including Universal Pre-K (UPK): We manage the enrollment process for all students, ensuring a smooth transition into the district, including our Universal Pre-K program which provides a strong foundation for early learners.

• English as a New Language Services [English Language Learner (ELL)/ Multilingual Learner (MLL)]: We provide specialized instruction and support to help ELL and MLL students achieve language proficiency and succeed academically.

• Student Support Teams including Counselors and Social Workers: Our counselors and social workers offer vital support services, helping students navigate academic and personal challenges and promoting their overall well-being.

• Intervention Services: We provide targeted interventions to support students who are struggling academically, ensuring they receive the help they need to succeed.

• Section 504: We oversee the implementation of Section 504 plans, providing accommodations and support for students with disabilities to ensure their equal access to education.

• Medical Home Instruction: We coordinate educational services for students who are unable to attend school due to medical conditions, ensuring they continue their education while receiving necessary care.

• Homeschool (Parentally-Taught) Students: We support families who choose to homeschool their children, providing guidance and resources to ensure a quality education.

• McKinney-Vento Homeless Education: We provide services and support to students experiencing homelessness, ensuring they have access to education and resources to support their stability and academic success.
