Our Early Childhood Programs including the Universal Pre-K Program are run by the YWCA of Lockport. More information about the programs can be found by visiting the YWCA website.

To register your child online, there are three (3)steps to follow:

Step 1: start by completeing the UPK Registration Packet. All forms should be filled out prior to your appointment.

Step 2: Call the Board of Education office to set up an appointment for registration. Registration is by appointment only from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.  Please call (716) 478-4811 or (716) 478-4817.

Step 3: Show up for your appointment and bring your registration packet. Your appointment will be held at the Lockport City School District Office, 130 Beattie Avenue , Lockport, NY.

You can also call to request a registration packet to be mailed if you are unable to download the forms.

For those unable to download and print the Registration Packet, a complete paper Registration Packet is also available at the John Pound Early Childhood Center, 51 High Street, or at the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier, 32 Cottage Street. Once completed, please call the Board of Education (716) 478-4811 to schedule an appointment to drop off the Registration Packet and all required documentation.
