Dear Lockport High School West Parents and/or Legal Guardians, 

 I am writing to inform you of a recent situation involving a verbal threat made by a student at Lockport High School West. 

Upon receiving this notification, district officials immediately contacted local authorities, and they worked closely with school administrators to investigate the matter. 

 I am pleased to report that the investigation has now been concluded, and the threat has been determined to be non-credible. However, we want to emphasize that all threats are taken seriously, and we follow a thorough investigative process guided by our code of conduct to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. 

 We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Lockport City Police Department for their continued collaboration and support throughout this investigation. 

As part of our safety protocol, additional police presence will be at the school on Monday morning to provide an added layer of security.
