This year, the Boys & Girls Club of the Northtowns will offer after school programming at EBIS from the end of the school day through 6:30 p.m. The program will begin the first week of October and run Monday through Thursday only. You will have to make alternative arrangements for Friday after school care. The cost for the program is $300 for the year (October - June).

In-person registration sessions will take place by the Boys & Girls Club of the Northtowns at the Lockport City School District Office Building (130 Beattie Avenue) on: 7/25 from 3 to 6 p.m., 7/31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and  8/5 from 12 to 5 p.m.

School Supply Lists
The school supply lists for the 2024-2025 school year are now available online. You can view them at this link. We have kept the lists short this year, and any additional supplies needed will be provided by the school.

New Communication Tool - Rooms
We are thrilled to introduce "Rooms," a new two-way messaging tool for better parent-teacher communication. Through Rooms, parents can see classroom announcements and message teachers, all within the same app used for district and school news updates. More information about this tool will be sent out soon, so keep an eye out!

New District App
We're thrilled to announce the new app for Lockport Schools! It's everything Lockport Schools, in your pocket. With the new app, you can access documents, events, news updates, and even emergency notifications.

Summer Learning Challenge
Have you heard about our summer learning challenge? We have programs for both Math and Reading, offering students the chance to complete challenges and earn prizes for the next school year.

Math Challenge: Students can complete 4 math challenges, each open for 2-week windows. Completed assignments should be emailed to Mr. Lewis at glewis@lockportschools.net.

Reading Challenge: Students can complete 4 reading challenges to earn prizes and Roar Bucks. They need to submit a signed reading log and complete a Google form summary for each challenge.

You can read more about both programs here.
