Dear Lockport City School District Community,
It is with deep sadness that I write to confirm that we recently learned that Norma Weaver, one of our beloved school cafeteria monitors, passed away over the winter break. Norma had been a dedicated member of our team, supporting Roy B. Kelley Elementary School in the mornings for breakfast and Emmet Belknap Middle School in the afternoons for lunch.
Norma's care, kindness, and unwavering support of our students will always be remembered. She had a special way of making everyone feel valued and was a source of comfort and encouragement for many of our children. Her contributions to the school community will leave a lasting impact.
At this time, we have not been notified of any funeral arrangements. Please know that we will share any updates regarding services on our website as we receive them.
Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences go out to Norma's family and friends during this difficult time. We stand together as a community, united in our remembrance of Norma and the positive difference she made in the lives of so many.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mathis Calvin
Superintendent of Schools
