Schedule of Events for Unity Fest 2025!

4:00-5:15 p.m.
Kindergarten Flag Football - Varsity football and flag football players will work with kindergarteners on flag football skills and tactics for the first half hour. Then the kindergarteners will play a flag football game with Varsity teammates as their coaches.
4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Walk Around the World - The LCSD community comes together for this beautiful display of cultural diversity. Families, schools, and community organizations across the district showcase their unique traditions.
Free Food Samples from Around the World (while supplies last) - taste samples from Italy, Middle Eastern, Polish, French and everything in between!
Faculty & Staff Dunk Tank - teachers and staff from LCSD will be bravely sharing the spotlight on the dunk tank. Stop by and try to dunk your favorite teacher or staff member!Food Trucks - Maria’s Bene Cibo, Cheesy Chick, Baby Ribs, Sun Cuisine, The Roast Beast, Wood Lock Pizza. Please bring money for the food trucks-these are not free.

5:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Kindness Parade - Our district has embraced Rachel's Challenge, a nationwide anti-bullying initiative, as part of the "We All Belong" campaign to foster a safer and more inclusive environment. Each school participated in the "Chain Reaction" project, creating paper chains from acts of kindness and positive messages. During the Unity Fest, all eight schools will link their chains. The LHS Pep Band and Cheerleaders will be on hand to hype the crowd up in a school spirit celebration showcasing tens of thousands of kind gestures from the 2024-2025!
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Unified Bocce with Dani Hagen & Team-friends from the Unified Bocce team will be on hand to toss the ball around!
LHS Kickball Tournament-LHS students will combine their efforts to take on each other. See what team will be crowned the best kickball team at LHS!
Touch-a-Truck- Come visit with Lockport City Fire Department & Lockport City Police Department, sit and play in their trucks!
Important Information
In the case of rain, the event will be moved to inside LHS on the same night, Friday, May 30, 2025.
Parking will be available throughout LHS Campus. Overflow parking will be available at Charles Upson Elementary School and the Kenan Center where busing will be provided to drive people to and from the LHS. Handicap Parking will be available at LHS Campus. Please see a parking attendant.
Bathrooms will be available outside, beside the tennis courts and inside LHS at door #7 off of the back parking lot.
A first aid and security tent will be available at the event, in front of the Varsity Soccer Fields.
Please, no pets.
Bring a chair or blanket. You'll have plenty of room to set it up in front of our stage area where performances will be going on all night long!
