The Family & Community Liaison manages the FEC and coordinates FEC programming. A resource for students, families, and community members, the Liaison helps connect school and community, provides information and support, and assists families in navigating the school district.

Laurie has over 30 years of experience working with children and assisting parents/caregivers. Previously to working at the FEC, Laurie was the Niagara County Program Coordinator at Every Person Influences Children (EPIC), where she provided parent support, education, and family engagement programs. Laurie is active in the community and volunteers with many organizations and events, especially as a member of Barge Canal Optimist Club.

Rev. Darryl Barrow is the Lead Pastor at Lockport Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Born in Trinidad, Rev. Barrow has served for over 30 years in ministry. He is an accomplished conga drum percussionist and uses music to bring people together on issues of social justice and diversity. He enjoys advising youth, young adults, and adults in service and leadership projects as they relate to both local and overseas missions. Darryl has two accomplished sons, Darryl, Jr. and Duane, who are pursuing education and careers in engineering. He loves sports and the outdoors.

Jon is a Discharge planner/Case Manager with over 22 years of experience as a Social Worker. Jon has worked with children/youth, addictions, geriatric/elderly and traumatic brain injury clients. Jon received his Master's degree in social work with a concentration in alcoholism and other drugs. Jon is a powerful force in the workplace with a positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others. He is inspired daily by his wife, three children and three grandchildren. In his free time, Jon enjoys landscaping and spending time with family and friends.
