Principal's Welcome Message
Dear Parents and Legal Guardians of Charles Upson Elementary School,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and high spirits as we begin the new year. My name is Mr. James Spanbauer, and I am honored to serve as the Interim Principal of Charles Upson Elementary School.
I bring with me a wealth of experience in education and leadership. I have had the privilege of serving as the Principal of LaSalle Preparatory School in the Niagara Falls City School District, and I have held leadership roles at Niagara Falls High School. Since my retirement in 2020, I have had the pleasure of working as an interim administrator in several districts, most recently serving as Interim Elementary Principal at Niagara Wheatfield. I truly value the opportunity to continue to serve in a leadership role, and I am excited to bring my experience to support the students, staff, and families of Charles Upson Elementary.
As I step into this new role, my goal is to be a supportive and approachable leader who will work tirelessly to serve the entire school community. Together, I believe we can continue to make Charles Upson a place where all students feel valued and supported in their educational journey.
